New Years 2011 was a huge success! We had a ton of fun watching the First Night crowd create new and exciting pieces in Saratoga Springs.
Hats off to all First Night participants….you guys rocked the Ghost Train! We were glad to see young and old enjoying the project. Our favorite was a group of grandmothers who got back in line 4 or 5 times to tag new trains! Nice work ladies. And hats off to the people of Saratoga Arts for all their hard work and who were supportive of our vision and a wonderful collaborative partner! We couldn’t have done it without you.
So long Saratoga Springs….thanks for a spectacular night and we hope to see you all again!
xo,
the Ghost Train team

Ghost Train will be exhibiting at First Night Saratoga on New Year’s Eve! If you live near Saratoga, or just want to take a trip, come out and see us at the City Center. We will be projecting our infinite train car canvas…..and awaiting all your amazing light creations….from 5pm – 11pm on December 31st 2010.
Check out all the other great artists and events happening over at First Night Saratoga http://www.saratoga-arts.org/firstnight/
Fireworks at midnight too! What fun. Can’t wait to see you all there.
Check out the new video we put together of our time @ Burningman!
Our teammate Tyler Mcpherron hooked us up with some great footage throughout the event. Thanks Tyler!

Well, we didn’t get Martha to try our project as she “doesn’t do graffiti” (we weren’t too surprised by her response), but we still had an amazing time! We are so appreciative to those who planned the event and were happy to have been included in such a great show. There was amazing food and delicious apple cider & Wild Turkey, fall cocktails served. There was also some really incredible art…and a bunch of fun people! Check out a few of our pics on our ghosttrain flickr page.
Thanks everyone who came to support us, and for those who kept the party going!
p.s. We also got a minor shout out from Martha on her Twitter account “our company art show was a huge success- many serious art entries including digital art, photography, paintings and jewelry- i’ll post pics“
Ghost Train will be presented tomorrow night @ the Martha Stewart Employee Art Show (After Hours 3). True, one of us works there, but you know it’s gonna be great!
Crossed fingers we get Martha to do some digital graffiti! We will keep you posted, and of course post pictures after the event.
We may have had our worries and technical quagmires but when it came down to it, Ghost Train went off without a hitch. Check out some images on our Flickr page.
We’ll have the complete archive of pieces made on the playa up soon (2 weeks most likely) and you should be able to find your work based on time and date. We’re super excited to get it all up and running and we thank everyone that made Ghost Train possible this year.
Check back for more updates on where Ghost Train is going next.
Thanks,
GT team
We are back from the desert and are finally getting the showers and sleep we need to feel like normal human beings. For those of you who participated in Ghost Train out on the playa we will be adding all your amazing creations very shortly. Please come back to check it out.
Also, pics of the project and video documentation will be posted soon too…right after 2 or 3 more showers. ;)
Thanks for an amazing time everyone!
